Almost everyday around 4pm, I step outside of my company’s office in DUMBO to take a short walk in Brooklyn Bridge Park.

It’s my version of reccess.

It’s that time of the year again.

Melissa and I are moving out of our apartment in Fort Greene next week. I am heading to South Africa to do some sound effects recording and film work, Melissa is still looking for a place in Brooklyn.

DeKalb and Vanderbilt

Lined with beautiful old brownstones and trees, South Portland Avenue between DeKalb and Lafayette is one of my favorite streets in New York.

The north entrance begins with Fort Greene Park on DeKalb then takes you down to the quaint cafes and restaurants on Lafayette.
