<p>Melissa and I are moving out of our apartment in Fort Greene next week. I am heading to South Africa to do some sound effects recording and film work, Melissa is still looking for a place in Brooklyn.</p>
<p>This photo was taken on Pacific and Vanderbilt last October, but we recently stumbled upon it as we were looking through an old Facebook album.</p>

<p>Lined with beautiful old brownstones and trees, South Portland Avenue between DeKalb and Lafayette is one of my favorite streets in New York.</p>
<p>The north entrance begins with Fort Greene Park on DeKalb then takes you down to the quaint cafes and restaurants on Lafayette.</p>
